Al Garth
Al Garth is best known for being a founding member of Loggins & Messina and a member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. In the seventies, he worked with Timothy B. Schmit while in Poco (obviously Tim was not an Eagle yet). Both he and Bernie Leadon were in the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, but at different times.
Garth has been playing on Glenn Freys records and touring as a part of his backing band since his first album, No Fun Aloud, in 1982. This naturally evolved into him touring with the Eagles as well. Al Garth also Played in Poco during the Rose of Cimmaron period. he worked with Timothy B. Schmit while in Poco (obviously Tim was not an Eagle yet).
